[Apcupsd-users] Need Support and I Feel there is a BUG in the APCUPSD

Hi,

I bought the APCUPSD DEAMON recently. I have installed deamon successfully
for windows.

Now I found a bug in that deamon, i.e In the event's log it is not creating
an event when it is installed or updated or any other operations like ups
events.

*In APCUPSD SOFTWARE, *it is creating a service but not event source. In
the registry *regedit.exe, *when we check here, it is creating a service
but not in the eventlog--> Application.

To get the event log in the *Eventvwr, *the APCUPSD source should be in the
Eventlog-->Application.

It is not creating the source.

Please let me know about this as soon as possible.

I am an apcupsd user just like you, meaning that I'm not a developer.

I cannot help you with your problem, but I just want to set your
expectations. Apcupsd is free open-source software (FOSS), meaning that
you have not "bought" it, and also meaning that I'm afraid you do not
have an entitlement to support.

People here are helpful, and they might have a solution for you, but any
help you get is on a best-effort basis.
