Hi,
are there knows problems with apcupsd on macOS Sierra (10.12)?
After installing it only the „?“ is shown in the icon … no ups is found.
The same also after unplugging and replugging the USB-cable.
UPS (APC ES 550) was working fine under 10.9

ditto for me - any leads on this? UPS is an APC RS 1200
No luck with obvious stuff - restarting and verifying firewall off.

And broken again in 10.12.3? I’m getting continuous (every 10 seconds):

Communications with UPS lost.

in /var/log/apcupsd.events

and alternating popups every minute(?) complaining of
NETWORK ERROR for UPS ‘<unknown>'
and
COMMLOST from UPS ‘<GH_SHELL>’ (which is the name of the UPS in the config file)

Anyone else having issues?

I’m running :
apcupsd 3.14.14 (31 May 2016) darwin

Which appears to be the latest release.

After updating to 10.12.2, it started working again.
Hopefully that fixes it for anyone else doing a Sierra update. If it's
broken after update, just keep going.
